Brief Introduction

Dr. Kailash Chandra is a senior interventional cardiologist at Rajasthan Hospital, Jaipur. Before joining Rajasthan Hospital, he was Structural and Peripheral Intervention Fellow at Maria Cecilia Hospital, GVM Care & Research, Italy. He has also experience of working as structural interventions fellow in Inselspital, University Hospital, Bern (Switzerland).

He is expert in atherectomy devices(Rotablation, IVL), coronary imaging (IVUS, OCT) and ventricular support device (IABP, Impella) assisted complex angioplasties, Chronic Total occlusions (CTO) along with robotics assisted angioplasties. 

He is specialist of transcatheter aortic, mitral valvular replacement (TAVR, TMVR); trans catheter edge to edge repair of mitral and tricuspid valve (Mitraclip, Triclip, Pascal system) along with para valvular leak/ left atrial appendage(LAA )/ PFO/ ASD/VSD/PDA closure. 

He has undergone dedicated fellowship program for percutaneous management for peripheral vascular diseases including carotid/ lower limb/ diabetic foot/ non healing ulcer interventions. 

He also performs Pacemaker, Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator(ICD) and CRT-D. 

He has also experience of clinical research. He has presented 14 clinical cases/research data on international platform.

He has contributed 25 research papers which have been published in national/ international journals. 

He is also Co-investigator of international multi center robotics assisted coronary interventions project- TESLA Registry and involved in different interventional research projects.
