Our Department of Psychiatry & De-Addiction is one of its kind in India. Our department includes compassionate clinicians, inter-disciplinary teams of talented professionals, and mental health volunteers committed to giving a healing environment to our patients.

As a department, we not only provide the highest quality of patient care but also lead the region in terms of our understanding of treatment modalities that are transforming the approach towards mental illness and specifically Addiction and Substance Abuse. We also lend support to people who lead a normal and well-adjusted life but are witnessing problems in other walks of life. We are fully equipped to attend to the mental health needs of children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population.

Our department envisions an enabling treatment environment for a person facing problems related to mental health & addictive disorders. We believe in thorough assessment & formulating a management plan keeping in view the balance of patient rights & needs.

The department also provides extensive psychological support and is equipped with various psychological assessments relating to children and adults.

Symptoms of Mental Illness

The signs and symptoms of mental illness can differ, depending on the disorder, circumstances and some other factors. The most evident signs and symptoms include:
